Every plant has its own specific needs or requirements and must be designed accordingly. The very first challenge faced by the team was to choose an efficient design tool, where they can design electrical system for the new production lines, equipment’s, and devices to meet the demands for their client.
Documenting the electrical designs, calculations, and layouts was the next challenge as it is a crucial aspect for compliance, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Most of CAD tools can provide drafting and design of systems. However, maintaining every document, performing load & sizing calculations, making amendments, manually generating reports is troublesome and time consuming. Lastly, overall reduction in drafting time was essential to meet tight project deadlines and reduce operational costs.

The Integrated database allowed the users to link objects in various templates and hierarchies. Standard project templates have been created and re-used wherever necessary to boost project start up time.
